The Kit Generator module allows you to automatically generate materials for a product dynamically using characteristic formulas.
The products of the kit generator are generated on specific actions:
When transferring a quote or order from Cieblink to Cienapps.
When right-clicking Cienapps which opens the Cieblink configurator. The products will be generated when saving the room in Cieblink.
The products that will be generated will be automatically placed in the materials tab of the Cienapps quotation or order. Products are not added in Cieblink, only in Cienapps.
Generated products will be cumulated with other children line of materials that share the same information (price/descriptions, dimensions, costs).
Generated products do not cumulate with a line of materials that would be a parent line (added manually with +).
The formulas for the kit generator are calculated in the scope of the parent product.
Activation
In a product sheet, the 'Dynamic Set' checkbox on the 'Product type' tab allows you to display the functionality.
How to use
As is the case in the description of the characteristic grids, it is possible to define a grid for the current product. The 'Validate' button is used to validate the row formulas. For all the formulas, it is possible to modify the sequence using the up and down arrows.
Formula
The notion of managing formulas is the same as that of characteristic grids. The reference to the documentation is available in this document under the ‘Documentation’ section.
