Folders

The folders allow you to divide your projects ending up on the same quotation, order, or work order. This division gives you more flexibility in the management of your projects, as well as the possibility of independently analyzing each of the parts that compose it.

 

A folder is a product called «parent». You can open it by right-clicking on it; you will then find the following information:

  • Products

  • Materials

  • Planning

  • Cost

  • Document

This information reflects only the contents of the folder and not the entire contents of the files (quotation, order, or work order).

The cost and/or price of the folder can be added manually or it can take into account the costs/price of the products and materials that make it up.

 

 

Quantity management

With the folder management, you will also be able to know the quantity of each of the products used in it. In the event that there’s more than one folder in a file, the total amount of these products will be displayed under the materials tab, regardless of which folder it belongs to. The finished products, on the other hand, will be displayed under their respective folders.

In the event that a change of a quantity is required, it is imperative to go through the parent folder; you can't change a "child" line otherwise.
Note: Sheet products are an exception. As these are optimized, it is not possible to properly separate the quantity adequately in multiple folders. Therefore, it is possible to change the quantity directly from the material tab of the file rather than in the folder.
