Counters in the capacity calendar

Your bottleneck is the first capacity indicator but is not necessarily the only one: the counters allow you to push your management ever further and take into consideration additional factors.

Counter’s display

The counters are configurable capacity factors allowing you to maximize your planning. They are available in the capacity and install calendar.

In order to ensure a better schedule, these are also displayed in the simulation. Thus, you will quickly know if you are exceeding one or another of the indicators and will be able to take action accordingly.

If you exceed one of your counter’s capacity, the counter’s display will turn red in order to warn you.

Configuration

The counters are configurable through one or more grid, going from one to four dials. Multiple indicators are available for you to choose from:

Square feet for doors
This indicator is based on the number of the square foot processed per day
Products quantity
This indicator is based on the quantity of product processed per day, for a specific manufacturer type (ex. Cabinet)
Workshop time
This indicator is based on a number of minutes available per day for a chosen workstation.
Sales
This indicator is based on the work-orders money value per day

The titles entered on each dial line will be displayed in the calendar in order to identify each counter.

Personalized view

While the person in charge of the schedule needs a global view, it might not be the case for everyone looking at the capacity calendar. In order to allow everyone to look at what they need without having to search it through irrelevant information, Cienapps allows you to personalize the counter view by employees. If none is selected in the employee file, the grid configured in the scheduling window will be displayed by default.
