Automatic label scanning

This module allows serial scanning of shipping labels.

When using a scanner on labels from Cabinet Vision, Cienapps can target the correct product line by associating the last scanned # with the one present in the description. The associated processes are automatically run. This feature speed up fluidity in the shipping process.

Processor

Scanning

In the processor, an automatic task file allows access to label printing.

With a handheld reader, scanning a shipping label searches the table according to the following conditions.

WO-3957-1-14: Value '14' matches search target

In the list, #14 is sought at the beginning of the description column.

13 - UPPER CABINET 1 DOOR - WILL NOT be selected

13 - DISH WASHER XYZ - WILL NOT be selected

14 - UPPER CABINET & OTHER - WILL be selected

The selection considers the functionality of a manual click on the checkbox.

Sounds

Screaming noises may be heard during scanning.

A sound: the product has been targeted and has been checked

Two sounds: the product has not been targeted and a red toast message will be displayed

Gather

When clicking on the 'Regroup' button, when this module is enabled, automatically executes the printing ('Print' button).

Shipping

In a shipping file, scanning is already possible. In the case of a specific scanning of a shipping label, the items will be targeted according to the same rules as before. A successful target will check the product and execute the processes equivalent to a manual click. Sounds will also be sent to your computer's speakers.

The scan field will be cleared for this serial action.

Type of material

In a product file, the type of material will have an impact on the scanning of the product targeted.

Module Automatic label scanning

When this module is enabled, only the cabinets are considered by the scanning.

Module Automatic label scanning (Door)

When this module is enabled, only the cabinets are considered by the scanning.

When the two modules are enabled, the scanning will be applied on the two types of product.
