Customer File (summary)

The customer file and it’s detail tab allows you to enter basic information about your customer.

Multiple fields are at your disposal to enter as much information as needed regarding your customer:

  • Coordinates
    Fill in the Name, First Name, Address, etc of your customer. Note that for a customer creation, these fields are mandatory and will be identified as such with an asterisk during your creation.

  • Kilometres
    Enter the kilometres for further reference, in case of a delivery service.

  • Company Checkbox
    For none private customers, click on this checkbox. After filling the various fields and clicking on ''apply'', you will be asked to add a contact name for that company. Note that multiple contacts can be added later on, under the ''Contact'' tab.

  • Phone Number
    This allows you to add multiple numbers per customer. You need at least one number to proceed to customer creation. However, if this customer is a company, you might want to use the ''Contact'' tab instead of the phone number list in this current tab.

  • Representative
    Other than your sales rep, you may have someone else at the intern working with that customer. If it's not the case, the sales rep name will be applied both as the representative and sales rep.

  • Salesperson
    This field represents your customer's sales rep/designer. This information will pass on from files to files and will be used for certain sales reports as well as Sales and objectives module and Sales Dashboard.

  • Email
    This field can be set as mandatory. An email will be useful for sending directly your invoices or state of account to your customer, or any other automatic email that can be triggered by Cienapps.

  • Email statement
    If your customer has multiple email addresses, depending on the communication you'd like to send, you can specify one solely for the statement of account.

  • Home Page
    Enter in your builder type website

  • Customer Type
    The type found in that drop-down menu is part of your initial configuration and is editable. Depending on your customers, you could add Residential, Builder or Commercial Type. You can be as precise as you want.

  • Origin
    Google search, flyers, Facebook, friend's reference, this is where you will choose the lead source of your customer. This data can be used in the Origin report, to see which marketing strategies were the most successful.

    Add a builder type logo

  • Business Area
    Add in additional information regarding the business area of your builder type, such as what type of commercial job he's in? (condo towers, store, etc.)
