How to Create a New Feature Category

To Create a New Category you need to start by pressing the + Button.

This will Open the Feature Categories window.

The Code tab is not use for the Catalog so just ignore it.

First step is to give a name for the new Feature Category.

ALWAYS ENTER THE NAME IN THE NAME AND FRENCH NAME TAB, IF YOU DON’T INTEND TO SALE TO FRENCH CUSTOMER JUST PUT THE SAME VALUE IN BOTH.

Next : if you need this Category to be Mandatory just check the checkbox.

Mandatory means that you wont be able to finish the selection without selecting this category.

Third : you need to select the Input Type.

IF YOU NEED MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE INPUT TYPES GO TO :

Fourth : If you need a Picture to show on your category before selecting the right Feature press the Picture Button.

Select the picture you want then press open.

Fifth : If this Category need to be link by ord to Cabinet Vision.

GO TO :

 

Once we have completed to fill everything we need its time to press OK.

Cienapps will automaticaly add the new category to your grid after you pressed the Refresh Button

 

 

 

Now you are ready to add new features in this Category.
