Tax management

This module allows you to manage your taxes by provinces or states, based on your address or your customer’s billing address.

 

Taxes configuration

The configuration is made in two steps:

  • Tax type creation
    Enter the codes and select the applicable country (previously created in Cienapps)

     

     




  • Province creation
    Once in the province table, click on ‘'new’'. Enter the province’s name, country and select one or more applicable taxes. Enter the tax number and the great ledger account number. Finally, in the bottom table, select the branch and adjust the information related to it. Note that this last step can be done directly from the branch file, once the province created.

 

 

 

 

Tax selection based on the branch address or the delivery one

Once the quote has been saved the first time, you will be able to select either the branch address or the delivery address on which the taxes will be applied. The information will follow in the order.

When transferring the order to an invoice, the system will take into account the selected option and will bill accordingly.

Note that you may not change the applicated taxes once the invoice created.
