When managing your installation, delivery, or capacity calendars in Cienapps, a key feature available to planners is the Tooltip Planning window.

This tool helps provide quick access to critical job details without interrupting your workflow.

Accessing Tooltip Planning

  • You can open Tooltip Planning by double-clicking a job directly from the calendar view.

  • This allows planners to check details without opening the full work order.

Key Features of Tooltip Planning:

  • Triggered Time Display: See how much time has been allocated to the job (e.g., 200 minutes for installation from the capacity product).

  • Supplier Delay Overview: View all items still on backorder, helping you determine if the job is ready to proceed or should be postponed.

  • Shipping Label Printing: Print your shipping labels directly from this window.

  • Processor Task Status: Quickly check task progress without fully opening the processor. This helps determine whether you’re on track for delivery or installation deadlines.

  • Documents : If permissions allow, you can view or even add notes. Note that these notes remain within the Tooltip Planning window only and won’t update the main order or work order.

  • Shipping Files: If files are associated with shipping, they can be viewed here.
