Quantity Formula

The quantity formula, much like the cost or price formula, calculates a numerical value that will be applied to the quantity of a product depending on the characterization chosen.
An additional tab (Quantity formula) will be added in your grids window. All the existing options for the price or cost formulas are also available when you access the full screen window.
Once the characterization is complete, the quantity will be calculated automatically and the total will adjust according to the quantity.
If the calculated quantity needs to be adjusted manually, it is possible to do so in your order or quote. Just save the characterization and go back to the previous window and make the adjustment.
Note that if the product is re-characterized, the quantity will be adjusted according to the formula.
