Order
The order is the central point of the project. It’s from the order that the work-orders for the production, as well as the invoices, will be both generated. The order represents the overall project where all activities related to it will be compiled.
The order table
The order table allows you to easily find all your orders.
You can filter the table by step, by salesperson, by an order number, by customer’s name or sort it according to the different columns proposed. You can also see, at a simple glance, orders that should have been invoiced but are running late, which are then displayed in red.
From this table you will be able to:
Open or create a new order
Edit an existing order
Duplicate an order
Print an order
Invoicing an order
Order
The order can be generated as a result of a quotation or directly entered into Cienapps at the beginning of your project.
Multiple information is available at the order level:
Customer
This information directly comes from the customer fileDelivery address
If the delivery address is different than that of the customer file, you can specify it in this box. It will also be added to the customer file.Title
Represents the project type of the order. This field can be configured as mandatory but is not required by default.Sales rep / Representative
The name will be automatically displayed according to the selection made in the customer file.Step
These steps are customizable and represent the progress of your order.Estimated due date
This date represents the estimated finishing date for the production.Reference No. / PO
These fields are optional and represent additional references (such as PO for builder type customer)Point of sales
These are your different points of sale, if applicable. This field can be configured as mandatory but is not by default.
Note: If the order comes from a quotation file, its information will automatically follow in the order at the time of transfer.
Available tabs
Once the basic information is entered, multiple tabs are available in order to add all the information related to the order:
Products
This tab regroups your ‘'project'' product (Kitchen, bathrooms, etc.) as well as all your finished products.Materials
This tab groups together all of the material requirements, regardless of the “projects” products to which they belong.Deposit
The customer deposit would be added to this tab with all the information related to it. (see module Deposit taking )Planning
See the estimated time required to build the project.Cost of production
Allows you to analyze the estimated profitability of your project.Actual cost
Validate the actual cost of your project as it progresses through the manufacturing process until it is invoiced.Activity
Under this tab, you will find all the activities related to the order (quotation, work order, shipping order and invoice). For more information, see the module Grouping of all activities in the orderDocument
This tab provides you with four sub-tabs to better sort your project documents. You can add your pictures, plans, contract signed, etc. Note that these are available from one file to another.Customer Info
Allows the addition of printable information on the order. It is also possible to have pre-recorded notes in order to add them quickly whenever necessary.Follow-up
Add different follow-ups depending on your actions related to the order (conversation with the customer, validation with the sales rep, etc.)Information
This tab allows you to add other project specifications, such as the desired installation date.
