Permission grid

The permission grid allows you to manage and adjust the permissions and the access of each user in Cienapps.

 

You can access the permission grid’s configuration menu through Configuration>Employee>Permission Grid. The grids can be created based on department or user.

During the creation of a new grid, all tabs must be validated in order to select and confirm permission settings.

  • Menu
    Identify and confirm the access to the different «Gear» of Cienapps
    (Sales, Purchasing, Planning, Shipping, Accounting, Configuration)

  • Configuration
    Manage the system’s configuration and modification permissions

  • Tools
    Select specific accesses related to particular tools

  • Permission
    Allows particular action per user related to their activity and/or department, depending on the different files available.

  • Report
    Allows management of the permission regarding generation or displays of the various reports available.

  • Accounting Report
    Determine permissions for the different reports and accounting tools.

 

Note: The permission grid attribution is made from the employee file only and is a mandatory field. However, it is possible to see each person affected by it under the ‘'Affected employee’' tab of the grid.
