Punch on tasks by project

Follow your tasks' progression in real-time and get an overview of your real labour cost for each of them.

Ongoing tasks

By using the ‘'punch on tasks by project’' module, the processor task manager not only lets you know what is the next priority to work on but also which task is currently in progress or stopped.

When an employee punches on a task, it will be highlighted in green. If the task is not completed and the employee punches out, the task will be highlighted in orange, meaning that it has been started but is still incomplete and that no one is working on it at the moment.

Punch and task completion

To punch on a task, nothing could be simpler. Just select the task in the processor and click on "Punch". It is also possible to do this by opening the task directly. To punch out of a task, just press the "punch" button again. To complete a task, you simply have to select the task in the processor window and click on the ‘'Finish’' button. You can also do it directly from the task window.

Note: An employee cannot be punched on more than one task at a time. If he is already on a task and punches on a new task, it will automatically be taken out of the previous task he was working on.

Time tracking

Under the "punch" tab of a task, you will be able to see all the recorded times or the ongoing ones. You will see the start and end date, the duration per punch as well as the employee who worked on it.

Configuration

In order to be able to punch on a task, an employee must have been assigned the necessary skills in his employee file, under the "Competency" tab.

Thus, an employee with the "CNC" skill only will not be able to punch on an assembly task, for example. However, it is possible to assign more than one skill to an employee.
