The MOSAÏK import allows you to read files from the drawing software and import the various products/materials needed for the production of your project.

Before you can use the Mosaïk import, you must contact the Cienapps team so that they can add the Mosaïk option to the manufacturing configuration.

 

 

CIENAPPS Configuration

In the manufacturing configuration sheet, you will select “Mosaïk” from the list of imports.

 

Document generation - MOSAÏK

To allow you to use the import tool in Cienapps you need to generate two Mosaïk documents.
The first document is the CNCOperatorExportRunReccord.XML and the second is the JobData.mdb.

 

Generation of the CNCOperatorExportRunReccord.XML Report

  • When you are under the Cutlist tab, you must select Optimize, and then select all your materials.

  • By pressing OK the cutting plan for each of the materials will create.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • You must then go to the material tab and select one of the material choices from the drop-down menu.

  • Once the material is selected, you need to optimize it by pressing the optimize tab and then the optimize button.

  • IMPORTANT: You must do this operation for all the materials one after the other.

     

     

     

     

     

  • Then select the Patterns tab

  • Select “Generate GCode”

  • Select all materials

  • Finally hit OK.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  • The last step is to export the document.

  • Under the file tab select Export.

  • Then select Export to CNC Operation.

  • A new page will open and you must select Export All.

  • Then press the X to close the window, to go to your documents where you will find the new CNCOperator document.

 

Generation of the JobData.mdb Report

  1. Under the File tab of your project, select Reports.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  2. A window opens and you only need to press “OK” and the document will be created in your documents.

 

CFAO import into CIenapps

Once your documents are generated, it will be easy for you to import all the required materials related to your project directly into Cienapps via the «CFAO import» tool in the supplying menu.
