Evolutive Kit

Thanks to the Configurable Kit module, it is possible to dynamically generate materials for a product using characteristic formulas.

The configurable kit products are generated at specific times:

• When transferring a quote or order from Cieblink to Cienapps.

• When using the right-click option in Cienapps that opens the Cieblink configurator. The products are generated upon saving the right-click operation.

The products that are generated will automatically appear in the Materials tab of the quote or order in Cienapps. These products are not added in Cieblink, only in Cienapps.

The products from the configurable kit will be grouped with other accumulated material lines that share the same information (price/description, dimensions, costs).
However, the configurable kit products will not be grouped with a parent material line that has been added manually (via the "+" button).

The formulas for the configurable kit use the configurations of the parent product (for example, the dimensions/characteristics of the parent product, which is the configurable kit).

Activation

In a product sheet, the ‘Configurable Kit’ checkbox in the ‘Product Type’ tab enables the feature.

Usage

As with characteristic grids, it is possible to define a grid for the current product. The ‘Validate’ button allows you to validate the line formulas. The sequence of all formulas can be adjusted using the up and down arrows.

Formula management works the same way as it does for characteristic grids.

Visualization in Cieblink

It is possible to preview the products of the configurable kit that will be generated, directly within the Cieblink formula helper.
