Importing Timesheet Excel Files from DREEVEN
Introduction
With Cienapps, it is possible to import Excel files exported from the DREEVEN application into our software. This import is essential for managing employee work hours—a key element in tracking productivity and organizing projects.
Enabling or Disabling the Import Feature
You can enable or disable the ability to import Excel files from DREEVEN using the module “Import timesheet file from Dreeven.”
Importing
To perform the import, click on the "Import Excel" button in the Real-Time Time Clock window.
Note: When importing, it’s important to select the correct Excel file and ensure each row contains valid data.
The import is based on the following columns:
Date column [A]
Project number [G]
Employee number [I]
Time quantity [O]
If any of these columns contain invalid data or do not meet Cienapps requirements, the system will skip that row and move to the next one.
Additionally, the employee must be associated with a workshop or a digitization department.
If not, the system will also skip the row.
History
To review the import history, you can view the history table by clicking the "Import History" button.
This button opens the "DREEVEN History" window, which contains the following columns:
Import date
Name of the user who performed the import
Name of the imported file
