Dates management improvement

In order to improve the consistency of the due date and the installation date, Cienapps clarifies and facilitates the management of different calendars.

The concept is that the due date of a work order is linked to the Production schedule and the installation date is influenced by the Installation schedule, but more specifically by the installation department.

In addition, when a date is manually set in the work order, it is considered Estimated. However, when the work order is scheduled in the different calendars, the terminology will change to Scheduled.

Cienapps uses the Installation department to set the date used as the scheduled installation date.

In the Scheduling window, the Starting Production column has been replaced by Due date and the Shipping Date column has been replaced by Installation date so that everything is consistent in the terminologies used.

The Start and End of Project fields on the work order information tab have been removed because the information is now available in the work order due date field.

Let's see everything in more detail.

When you create the work order from the order, the dates are all in an estimated condition.

Once the work order is scheduled in the Production calendar, the status change to the scheduled due date.

Once the work order is scheduled in the Installation calendar, the status changes to the scheduled installation.

In the case of several teams related to the installation department, the earliest date will be the one used in the scheduled installation field.

When a work order is unscheduled, the date status returns to estimated and the dates are adjusted throughout the system.

Once the unscheduled is done in the Production calendar, the due date returns to the one initially estimated.
