Automatic printing of receiving labels

The module of automatic printing of receiving label makes it possible to define according to the product, how the printing of the labels will be done.

This configuration is made either in the product category or in the product directly.

There are 4 possible choices for printing

  • No printing: you never want to print the labels for this product when you receive it.

  • 1 label per quantity: We want to print 1 label for each quantity received.

  • 1 label for all quantities: We want to print a single label that will contain the total of the quantities received.

  • Per packet: We want the user to be able to manually define each label.

If you check the "Received" box, Cienapps will automatically print the product label according to this configuration with all quantities.

If you manually select the received quantities in the case of a partial receipt, you will be able to press the new "Print" or "Package" button to start the label printing process.

If your product is configured to print by package, you will find the same window as for making packages if you have the shipping module.

This window is used to decompose the reception of the product into several different packages.

The column "Packet Qty" allows you to define the number of printed labels.

The column "Qty in Packet" allows you to define the quantity contained in each label.

In this example we would have 3 labels :

  • 1 with 60 quantities

  • 2 with 30 quantities

Note that the sum of the quantities must be equal to the quantity received in the reception

The label format is :

2”x4”

Label preview

In the general configuration under the ‘Printing and scanning’ tab, and the 'Quotation/Order/WO/Billing/Shipping’ sub-tab, the ‘Preview receipt labels’ option is available.

When printing labels, this option allows you to view the label before printing.
