Mozaïk version 13 and +

Author's Note Regarding Version 13

In version 13, Mozaïk now allows to consider edges and hardware. In this version, some files are no longer used: their data exists in duplicate in other files.

This document does not elaborate on the differences with other versions: version 13 - at the time of writing this documentation - is the official version that will be or is deployed to customers who use Mozaïk.

In this version, Mozaïk generates a SQL Lite database file (an Access equivalent) as well as an XML file.

Context

For Cienapps, Mozaïk is a software that allows you to set up a BOM (Bill Of Material). The user client can import Mozaïk data into Cienapps’ CAD/CAM import. This then allows you to create an order, quotation, work order or even merge the details with one of these existing cases.

Configuration

Module

The ‘Mozaïk Import’ module must be enabled. For further details, please contact your project manager and request it.

Manufacturing Configuration

In the Manufacturer configuration, tab ‘CAD/CAM’, it is possible to configure the import type ‘Mozaïk V13’. A restart of Cienapps may be necessary.

In the Manufacturer configuration, version 13 of Mozaïk is available

Import BOM

In the Cienapps CAD/CAM import, the default selection points to that of the Manufacturer configuration.

Access to the CAD/CAM import window is via the Cienapps main menu (search possible with F3). By default, the same version (Mozaïk V13) as the one configured in the Manufacturer configuration is displayed.

Legend

A - The “…” button on the right allows you to select the .db file from Mozaïk

B - The “…” button on the right allows you to select the XML file. This contains the data from the sheets.

C - The “Import” button allows you to import the data into Cienapps.
