Export Generator

The export generator can be accessed by a user in "Sales" mode from the Configurations tab, under the "Export Generator" option.
Upon creating an order and/or a quote containing at least one product belonging to a selected product group
When an order and/or a quote is created containing at least one product from a product group selected in the configuration, an export file will be created and will be accessible from the attached files of the project.
Creating an Export Configuration
To create a new export configuration, select "Create a new export," which will open a creation modal.
In the modal, name the new configuration, then select the type of file that will be generated. Configuration names are unique within a company, and the type of file generated cannot be changed after the configuration is created.
Configuration Table
A company's configuration table contains five columns, starting with the names of existing configurations.
The File Type (1) column indicates what type of export file will be generated by the configuration.
The Documents (2) column indicates what type of documents can trigger an export generation. The generation can be triggered by quotes, orders, both, or never (none).
Clicking on the gear icon in the Edit (3) column allows modifying the export configuration for the associated row.
Clicking on the X in the Delete (4) column allows for the complete deletion of a configuration after a confirmation request.
Common Modifications to an Export Configuration
On the export configuration editing page, you can:
Change the configuration name, keeping in mind that configuration names are unique. Click "Save" to apply the change to the configuration.
Configure the dynamic naming of generated export files. By using "tags" as created in the formula generator (see below), the document title can contain information from the project that generated it. Click "Save" to apply the change to the configuration.
The file type created by a configuration cannot be changed after its creation.
In the generation conditions, it is possible to select whether an export document will be generated for a compatible order and/or a quote. If none of the options are checked, the configuration will not generate any export files. These changes are automatically applied to the configuration.
When saving an appropriate document (order and/or quote), the system checks if at least one of the products contained in the project belongs to a product group included in the generation conditions. Clicking the "Add Group" button displays a modal listing all the company's product groups. By clicking the + symbol in the right column, the product group is added to the configuration. Clicking the X next to a product group removes it from the configuration. These changes are automatically applied to the configuration.
