The Production Material Square Feet Cost is the square feet cost of the panel material + an average of edgebanding cost per sqft.

For Example :

If in a job that we have produced we have used 15 sheet of white melamine and 300 feet of white edgebanding.

The white melamine panel are 4x8 and cost 32$ per sheet

To Calculate the SQFT cost you need to calculate:

1.(width x height) = SQFT TOTAL OF THE SHEET

(4X8) = 32

2. SHEET COST / SQFT TOTAL OF THE SHEET = SQFT COST

32/32 = 1 $

In this case the SQFT COST for the White melamine is 1$

The White edgebanding come in 600 feet roll and cost 75$

To Calculate the cost per feet just divide the Roll cost by the total amount of feet contained in it.

75 / 600 = 0.125 $ per foot.

To calculate the average of edgebanding per sqft of panel we will take the total amount of edgbanding and multiply it by the foot cost.

1.we need to get the total White Edgebanding cost for the Project :

300 * 0.125 = 37.5 $ total cost for the project.

2.We need to get the total amount of WHITE MELAMINE SQFT in the project.

(4x8)*15 = 480

3.We need to divide the total cost of White edgebanding by the total amount of White Melamine SQFT

37.5 / 480 = 0.08 $ of White Edgebanding per SQFT of White melamine.

The White Melamine Production Material Square Feet Cost will be the square feet cost of the White Melamine Panel + the Average cost per sqft of White Edgebanding.

1 + 0.08 = 1.08$
