Prevent task rescheduling
This document elaborates on an option in the manufacturing configuration called “Ignore the request to reschedule tasks”. When activated, it grants permission to allow rescheduling in a specific case.
Manufacturer configuration
In the manufacturing configuration file, the option is available in the ‘Calendar’ tab.
Permission
When the option is enabled, the ‘Workflow Refresh’ permission is available.
Scheduler
In the simulation calendar (the changes applied to the scheduler), any modifications that impact the rescheduling of one or more tasks will not be applied. A window usually appears to confirm this rescheduling. In this case, with or without permission, the rescheduling is not performed and is not requested.
Work Order
If no permission is granted, when the option to ignore rescheduling is active, the workflow change and update options are greyed out on a work order file.
