Products that can be shipped conditionally

This module allows you to configure products to determine whether they should be included in shipments. In the product file options, the "Shipping Type" dropdown list allows you to choose how the product will be handled.

  • Never shippable: This is the default setting. These products will never be included in the shipment.

  • Always shippable: These products will always be included in the shipment.

  • Ships as finished products only: If these products are included in the materials of the work order, they will not be included in the shipment, but will be if the product is classified as finished products.

  • Defined by product category: The “Shipping Type” setting of the category (one of the 3 choices above) to which this product belongs will be taken into account to determine the shipment of this product.

The shipping type for a category can be selected in the category file.

You can change the shipping type of products in bulk using the quick product import feature on the scheduling page. Simply enter the desired shipping type for the products in the appropriate column. If the entry is not recognized, the "Never shippable" option will be selected by default.

If a product is not shippable, it will be ignored in all shipping statistics.
