Cabinet Vision

  • First step: please download the files below.

  • Second step: open the Cabinet Vision user folder and extract the file into it.

After extracting the file, you will see 3 new files in the user folder:

  • export_cv2024.bat

  • export_psnc.sql

  • export_report.sql

Third step: Configure the export_cv2024.bat script so that it targets the correct user folder.

To do so, open the script with Windows Notepad.

By default, you should see something like this:

Only the path to the user folder needs to change.

"CV-C:\ProgramData\Hexagon\CABINET VISION\Users\Administrator\report.mdf"

"S2M-C:\ProgramData\Hexagon\CABINET VISION\Users\Administrator\psnc-cv.mdf"

By default, it targets the Administrator user.

If Cabinet Vision is installed in a different directory, you will need to modify the full path.

Simply select the path at the top of the directory and replace the script path while keeping \report.mdf and \psnc-cv.mdf.

Save the script now.

If multiple Cabinet Vision users use the same workstation, you will need to follow the same procedure in each user folder.

Using the Script

Once you have finished your Cabinet Vision project, optimized it, and generated your reports, you are ready to run the script to generate the files for CAM import into Cienapps.

Just double-click on the export_cv2024.bat file.

You should now see 2 new .txt files in the user directory.

If these files are not created, please review your script configuration.

These files will be used for CAM import into Cienapps.
