Automatic triggering of document printing

This module adds a new potential trigger to a workflow task. This is a new type that, instead of sending an email (another type), allows you to print documents from a specific tab (work order). This document elaborates on the available configurations, potential uses, and some limitations

Configuration

General Configuration

In the general configuration file, under the 'Print and Scan' tab, the 'Automatic' tab is available. In this tab, you must select the one for printing documents.

Workflow

In workflow maintenance, it's possible to assign one or more tasks. This action can also be done using templates.

It's in this task that a trigger can be configured.

Trigger Automatic Printing

In this trigger, the automatic print type allows you to select the desired trigger.

A work order step can be assigned if that's the desired target.

The triggers available for sent emails remain the same in the case of automatic printing.

Limitations

API

The Cienapps API must be installed on the client server to use due date triggering.

Document Type

To avoid printing format errors, only PDF documents are printed.

Configured Printer

On the client server and client workstations, it is important to configure and select the default printer. This printer will be used to print documents.
