Resource Placement: Terms and Conditions

The Cienapps Integral Custom license provides exclusive access to prototypes developed by the community, as well as access to resources for carrying out custom developments. This license allows for the integration of specific features tailored to the client’s unique needs, while benefiting from dedicated resources to ensure implementation aligned with best programming practices.

Included with the license:

Access to prototypes and custom developments
Clients gain access to all prototypes developed within the Cienapps community.
They may also request specific custom developments through a dedicated developer, subject to the resource placement terms.

Structured development management
A development manager and a product owner oversee the process to ensure all deliverables align with the client’s objectives.

Continuous updates
We ensure a fast correction flow for all ongoing developments, supporting continuous software improvement.

Development Quality and Compliance

Bug fixes during placement periods
Requested fixes may be addressed during placement, even if not prioritized in the standard version, based on availability and priorities defined with the client.

Application of best development practices
To ensure sustainability and stability, high-quality development standards are consistently applied.

Peer code review
A peer review process is in place to minimize structural errors in the code.

Long-term compatibility
All developments are designed to remain compatible with the core system in the long run, in accordance with our standards.

Oversight and Management

Developers participate in daily meetings and bi-weekly retrospectives with their team to ensure priority alignment and continuous improvement.

Ongoing training for both developers and product owners is covered by Cienapps to maintain expertise in tools and methodologies.

Operational Benefits

Sick days, personal leave, and statutory holidays for developers are covered by Cienapps, at no additional cost to the client.

Cienapps handles all tax deductions at source.

Quality assurance and performance testing are conducted jointly with the client to validate robustness, efficiency, and security of the deliverables.

Standard Updates

Standard fixes from the Cienapps Integral version are included and delivered as part of the quarterly updates.

Client Availability and Commitment

The client must be ready to begin work immediately following the end of a previous placement, without relying on a buffer sprint.

Specific needs must be clearly defined before the sprint begins. Any unavailability or lack of preparation may result in reduced deliverables.

The client agrees to actively participate in quality control to ensure the deliverables meet expectations.

The first resource placement engagement must be for a minimum of two sprints. This helps establish a strong working relationship, build mutual understanding, and clarify collaboration between the client and the team.

Only one new client relationship begins per sprint, to optimize planning.

Resource placement begins on the second Monday of the sprint to allow the product owner time to properly support both the resource and the client.

A weekly check-in with the product manager is required to ensure consistent alignment and tracking of development progress.

Handling Technical Issues and Corrections

Buffer sprint usage
A buffer sprint is included between two placements to allow for the completion of ongoing tasks. If used, this sprint will be billed.

Post-placement issues
If a malfunction occurs after a placement on one of the deployed features, the affected feature will be deactivated until resolved. Any corrections will be billed to the client.

Incomplete features at the end of a placement
If some features are not complete or fully functional by the end of a placement or its extension, they must remain deactivated until the next resource placement or until the work is completed through an additional bank of hours.

Important:

All developments under the Cienapps Integral Custom license follow strict standards to ensure long-term compatibility with the core system. The fastest or lowest-cost solutions will not be prioritized if they compromise the durability or sustainability of the developments.

By subscribing to the Cienapps Integral Custom license, the client agrees to the terms and conditions outlined above and commits to following the established processes to ensure effective collaboration and high-quality results.
