Mastering Lighting Settings
Lighting Integrated into Cabinets
In Ciemetric, you can add lighting directly from the cabinets themselves — whether on the upper or lower ones.
To activate this lighting, simply open a cabinet’s Pencil menu and turn on the Light option.
For upper cabinets, the light is automatically positioned underneath, creating an elegant accent lighting effect.
For lower cabinets, the lighting is placed under the toe kick, creating a modern floating look.
Once activated, you can customize several parameters to suit your needs:
✨ Light intensity
🌈 Light color
🔦 Type of beam
These settings allow you to adjust the atmosphere of the scene, simulate different times of day, or highlight specific materials and design elements.
In the following panel, you can configure the cabinet lighting settings. These options are available for both upper and lower cabinets.
Adjustable settings: Light intensity | Light color | Luminaire size
Lighting type options: LED strip or spotlight
Decorative Light Fixtures
Light fixtures added to your layout enhance both the visual design and the overall lighting of your scene.
Currently in Ciemetric, fixture lighting settings are managed globally. This means you cannot adjust each fixture individually. All light fixtures in a project share the same intensity level, controlled by the global Intensity setting.
To access it, select a light fixture, then adjust the intensity from the Properties panel.
While the adjustment is global, it remains a powerful tool to balance the lighting ambiance of your layout.
Keep in mind that this feature is evolving, and more advanced options may become available in future versions.
