Reminder - Best Practices for Installation / Update

We’d like to remind you of a few best practices for installing and updating Cienapps to help prevent errors or disruptions when using the software.

1. Recommended installation folder

Each user should install Cienapps in their local user directory:
📁 C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Cienapps

You may also reach that folder by typing “%appdata%” in the Windows File Explorer address bar.

Please ensure:

• The software is not installed in a shared folder used by multiple users.

• Each user has administrator rights on this directory.

2. Firewall and antivirus settings

It's also important to check that your firewall or antivirus software is not blocking the application's update process. These tools can sometimes prevent updates from downloading properly.
