Cienapps facilitates your schedule planning by allowing you to manage absences and holidays from the installation calendar.
These holidays are visible from the calendar; when passing a stick over an absence, its duration is automatically adjusted. Activation of the ‘Time-off for installation teams’ module is required.
Installation & Simulation Calendar
The management and application of this functionality is carried out on the installation schedule and the simulation.
IMPORTANT
In planning calendar, schedules are read-only. It is not possible to add / modify schedules.
In the simulation, the schedules can be modified. This was designed to respect the 'read-only' aspect of the calendar VS write-and-manage schedule in the simulation.
Important
Only one category can be assigned 'by default'. When adding an absence, this category will be selected by default.
Manage categories
Categories allow you to classify absences and assign a color for a visual in the installation calendar.
The "By default" option allows the default selection of a category (and the associated colors) when absent.
Dark and light colors
These colors will be used on the visual absences. See the visual section below.
Absence management
The management of absences is carried out on time intervals, teams and categories of absence.
There cannot be several absences per team over the same time interval.
Management is possible with the use of the Add, Edit and Delete buttons.
When adding data, the following 'default' data is assigned to the entry form:
The start and end date are the current day
Start time is 8:00
The end time is 4:00 p.m.
The selected team is the first in the list
The schedule category
Selecting a category allows the use of the colors associated with it.
Important
To view the changes made to absences, you must close and open the installation / simulation calendar.
Display of absences (List)
Absences are displayed in two places in the installation and simulation calendar. This section elaborates on the bottom section of each calendar.
In order to target certain absences, it is possible to use the following filters:
A time interval
A team
A category
The list of absences displays the following information:
The start and end date and time
The team targeted by the absence
The category of absence
The light and dark color of the absence category
Display of absences (calendar)
In the installation and simulation calendar, absences are displayed in the background. The color of the absences is that of its category.
The color of the absence is the dark color of the category of this absence.
Display of a stick over an absence
It is possible to schedule a stick on an absence. The following conditions apply:
The duration of the staff is increased according to the duration of the absence
The absence category appears on the stick when there is only one category. Otherwise, the message 'Absence included' is displayed
The text of the absence displayed on the stick is in color. By default, the dark color is used (the same as the background). However, if the stick is dark, the light color is used
Add a quick absence (Menu)
It is possible to add an absence directly from the simulation of the installation schedule via the right click.
The absence entry form assigns the following values:
Start and end date is day selection
The start time is the time of the click
The selected team is that of the click
The selected category is the 'Default'
